“As a resident in obstetrics and gynecology, I had the opportunity to work with a marvelous reproductive endocrinologist, Dr. Fred Benjamin. His intuitive teaching abilities opened my eyes to the fascinating field of reproductive medicine. The concept that our knowledge of biochemistry and cellular kinetics could be transferred into the miraculous clinical result of overcoming infertility crystallized my career choice.
The wonder has never lessened because infertility is such an intensely private matter; it makes each success a special and singular triumph.”
