One of the first questions that most people ask about infertility treatment is "what is the chance for success?"
Naturally, success varies with many factors. That’s why we work with the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART), the national organization of fertility centers dedicated to the practice of advanced infertility treatment in the United States.
Our Centers of Excellence are active SART members. This means patients can have access to data and resources available through this organization, which acts as a quality assurance advocate — collecting and validating outcomes data and requiring accreditation of embryology laboratories.
SART doctors and scientists are on the cutting edge of the medical technology and science in treating infertility. They are continually researching new breakthroughs and are recognized nationally and internationally as leading practitioners in the field.
SART members are held to the highest professional standards, and our member practices follow strict guidelines in data collection and reporting, resulting in information that you can understand and count on. All embryology laboratories must be accredited every two years by the College of American Pathologists (CAP), or the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and, in New York, the New York State Tissue Bank Program (NYTSB)
SART works with government agencies and patient groups to establish quality assurance standards, create proper guidelines and provide educational information.
